从事蛋白质工程,酶工程的研究,主要承担《酶工程》、《蛋白质工程实验》、《生物化学实验》课程的讲授工作。近年来共发表高水平研究论文十余篇,累计影响因子达50,他引200余次,申请发明专利20项,授权发明专利6项。主持包括国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金,中国博士后基金等在内的省部级科研项目4项;获得教育部科技进步二等奖1项(2020,3/6),江苏省优秀博士论文(2015)。
